About Us

I’m Clo, short for Clothilde. I was born and raised on the small island of Mauritius located near Madagascar and South Africa. After completing my Bachelor’s degree, my husband Jerome and I decided to start a new chapter in Australia.

In July 2015, we left behind our island life and moved to the land down under. After three weeks of exploring Perth and Sydney, we made our way to Canberra, the city I’ve fallen in love with to begin mu post-graduate studies.

A year later, Jerome was offered a job and a

sponsorship opportunity in Port Hedland, a small mining town in the remote northwest of Australia. Once again, we packed our bags and moved to a place with just one K-Mart, one Coles, one Woolworths and a handful of other shops.

Now, nine years later with our Australian citizenship, our dog Zola, and the twins, we proudly call Port Hedland OUR HOME.
